I was reunited with the Nelson family whom I was a "nanny" for 5 years ago in kauai. It was one of the best summers of my life and I never knew if I would see them again! One of the positives of facebook is finding and reconnecting with people and that is where I found Elijah (the youngest). I heard they were coming to McMinnville of all places for a wedding and knew we had to make it work to see each other. Travis & I headed up to the Portland Zoo on Monday to hang out and had a great time reminiscing and laughing about that summer! Made my day :)
A trip to the zoo is not complete without elephant ears!
